“Voting is an honor, a privilege, and the best way to be a patriot.” Kim Porter
After a compromise vote by the board of elections this past week, it remained obvious that we continue to put people on boards who feel it is improper to work on Sunday. Yet, it is perfectly all right for the ER to be open, or the police and firemen to work, or the gas station to stay open, or for your favorite restaurant to feed you on Sunday. Oh, and don’t forget your minister, they are working.
Voting on Sunday doesn’t interfere with your religious services. Voting is an honor, a privilege, and the best way to be a patriot. Our democracy is being threatened. Open times for voting is a must.
